Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a 617 bed teaching hospital,
seeks candidates for the position of director of the Health Sciences
Library.  The library director is responsible for overall operational
management, including the design, development and implementation of public
and technical services.  Responsibilities include managing the library's
networked databases and Intranet, directing library staff, budget planning,
and developing library programs and policies.

Required:  ALA-accredited master's degree in library or information
sciences; AHIP membership preferred.  Five years library management
experience, with at least two years experience in a health sciences library.
Position requires knowledge of library automated systems, as well as
demonstrated managerial  skills.   Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.  We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.  Salary
range:  $65-75K.
