Sigh - it's UpToDate again. The medical staff here has scheduled a demo of
UpToDate on Tuesday, and invited me to attend. They are wanting to purchase
it and will pay for it (I have steadfastly refused to buy it out of my
budget for a variety of reasons). The quote they've been given is
suspiciously low, so I suspect there are some access limits that haven't
been made completely clear. I have gone through the archives and pulled out
some good summary info, but my request to you all is to help load me up with
some good pointed questions for the rep based on your experiences,
knowledge, surprises, etc. in this product. If the medical staff wants to
buy it, great, but I want to be sure they know exactly what they're getting
and how it will work instead of just being dazzled by
click-and-cool!-a-review-article! Thanks!!
