It won't help with the absolute number of messages, but
having Usenet access to the list usre makes it easier for me to use
and to skip over the stuff I have no interest in (yes, good subject
lines help a lot). I can now face my mailbox without panic!!!
If any sort of periodic message is to be printed with the
"Rules of the List", I would recommend also stating the Usenet access.
[Thank goodness this came up by mistake earlier - I was stting to
get very swamped].
