In the late summer and fall of 1793 the Yellow Fever epidemic devastated
the city of Philadelphia. Government fled while citizens stayed to pick up
the pieces. It is easy to draw comparisons between the yellow fever
epidemic and the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Please join us the week of September 21 for a series of speaker events and
workshops related to this historic public health event. Speakers include a
bioethicist, a Temple philosophy professor, a public health historian, and
a community panel to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on North Philadelphia
