Doody's Core Titles in the Health Sciences 2005 - the second edition of this annually produced collection development tool -- incorporates many important new features suggested by librarians who licensed the first edition in 2004.

NEW Features

* "Essential Purchase" Titles -- "Must buy" recommendations for smaller libraries from collection development experts in each specialty.
* Advanced search and filter tools -- Advanced search strategies and filters to find titles based on score, copyright or price range.
* Print/Export Plus -- Easily export or print search results.
* Compare and Sort Editions -- See at a glance what titles are new on this year's DCT list.

READ WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

"I really need the Core Title List to make a few more orders before years end. I really enjoy using this resource. Thanks."
--Donald Martin, Medical Librarian, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, MD

"The tradition of the Brandon Hill List may have come to a close but I believe medical librarians all over the world will benefit from the opinions of the core specialists and the expertise of the librarian selectors that comprise the DCT."
--Barbara Ruggeri, Medical College of Wisconsin Libraries, WHSLA Newsletter, January/February 2005

"The greatest strengths of the DCT are the comprehensiveness of the list and the participation of a large number of professionals. It is a very useful collection management tool and well worth the reasonable price."
-- Karen S. Fischer, MLIS, Journal of the Medical Library Association, July 2005

"The DCT is an important resource for health sciences librarians who are responsible for developing and maintaining monographic collections."
-- Mark A. Spasser, Biomedical Digital Libraries, 29 June 2005
