Hello,
I'm stumped on this one and hope someone can help me out with this. I am on the Biomedical Ethics committee and the chair is looking for information on what "quality indicators, or lack of, should be considered when a medical record is reviewed for compliance with advance directives, patient best interests, respect for autonomy, etc."
I've searched for info on what might trigger an ethics consult with a patient and/or family but I'm not having much luck with the above. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lisa
