Hi,

One of our nurses asked last week if there are any existing programs in which students who are studying to be RNs sit for LPN boards while they are in the middle of their programs. The goal would be for new, not-yet-any-kind-of-nurse ADN/BSN students to practice as LPNs in hospitals while they are still studying to be RNs - as a method of encouraging those nurses to continue working in the hospital after they do pass RN boards.

I don't see any programs like this, in which a newbie becomes an LPN while in the midst of an RN program. Is anyone aware of any such programs or -- even better - articles written about them?
