One more product was suggested by Laura Dixon:
Drive Vaccine
Comment: I wanted to mention Drive Vaccine. We used it for about a year
and it really did the trick for us. It's relatively new software -- our
I.S. department found it -- and I believe it cost less to license than Deep
Freeze (which is what we were originally planning to buy). Now our
institution has moved to a Microsoft Active Directory network (with more
capabilities for locking things down, etc.), so D.V. is no longer needed.
Thank you, Laura.
