I received a lot more hits and semi hits, but nothing from a major
source or publication. There seems to be mentions and semi mentions of
this concept in use, in mostly NICU and ER/ED, and some programs that
got started and discontinued. The term is not, as far as I conclude ,
"half baked", and refers to a mini-group within a larger department, and
is more a team-nursing approach (or any number of other semi-similar
concepts. I passed all the info to the two nurses from the ICU who were
interested, and let them delve into it and see what is or is not
adaptable.

Thanks for all your help - This time most of the responses came from the
Hospital Library Section, not the Medlib.
