Medlibbers--I need some advice regarding placing a computer workstation in
the lobby of the hospital. We are considering putting the health reference
center on it with support from the volunteers who staff the front desk. I
have looked at other CD-ROM products and have considered putting internet
access on it with consumer health bookmarked sites, but have decided to
start with the health reference center. The workstation will be in a
private location with other materials, pamphlets, etc. available to them.
People will be referred to me when they have further questions. Have others
done this or had experience with this? We are a small library with a half
time librarian. I have other consumer health materials in the library.
What do you think?
