Pat,
Your choice might rest on the degree of customization that you
think you want/need for your project. I use Paradox from
Borland, which I think is terrific. I build some fairly
sophisticated applications and need the minute control that
Paradox offers.
I have a copy of MS Access and have played with it
superficially. The reviews I have read rate it on the light
side compared to Paradox and Fox Pro; however, it might be more
than sufficient for your needs.
My knowledge of Fox Pro is anecdotal. I understand that it,
similar to Pradox in this respect, can be quite the work horse,
very powerful.
I will add that Paradox 7 arrived with many "experts" included.
They have made it increasingly easier to develop a nice
application by stepping your way through the "expert".
May or may not have helped..."a little knowledge is dangerous!"
If you have specific questions on Paradox, e-mail me; I'd be
glad to respond.
Regards,
Bill Braun
