Question for all you finely tuned automated types out there this
fine a.m. :)

I bought EOSi's Q Series ILS at end-of-year, including their acquisitions
module. We planned to use the acq module for internal tracking of orders,
etc., since under our hospital's ordering procedures all book orders, etc.,
route through the hospital's logistics section. Problems have begun to
recur, however, with problems on orders (duplicates arriving without
paperwork,
no-show items that are repeatedly queried to logistics for follow-up with
no response, etc. -- "the usual").

We've had problems with this before & I'm fed up with it. I'd like to use
the
EOSI functionality as leverage with the powers that be to transfer ordering
authority for the library *to* the library & get us our own credit card,
etc., so that
we can make *sure* our orders are done right. Is there anyone out there
with
knowledge/experience/etc., regarding either EOSi's GLAS or Q ILS's who
could share their advice with us? Any/all feedback, even the "Good GOD, you
don't even want to THINK about using that!!" type would be Greatly
Appreciated
Forever (or at least until a week from Tuesday <chuckle>)!

Thanks much!
