Hello group.  I am struggling with this search.  As far as infection control/prevention, is it better to give oncology patients transfusions in the cancer center (separate location) vs. sending them to the hospital infusion center?  I have searched multiple combinations of: blood transfusions/infection control prevention/oncology, etc.  The tricky part is isolating the concept of location.

I'm hoping Mark Vrabel chimes in.....
