Dear all,
Perhaps this is why I subscribe in digest form - I don't get deluged with all the individual requests! After sifting through a number of these comments on the "hot topic" of the moment, I realized that not one of the ones I read (and forgive me if I missed this) mentioned FreeShare. Perhaps, if more individuals realized they can add FreeShare to their Docline routing table (as a group - not even individually!) it would cut back on the numbers of requests being sent to Medlib-l. I, too, am a solo librarian and yes, I, too, have to ask for obscure as well as common things from time to time. And, yes, in a cost-cutting environment, what I can get for free matters. SO, this might help cut back on the apparent increase in ILL traffic on the Medlib-l. Of course, I could be completely wrong, too. :)
