Just a personal view, but why wouldn't your "patron" simply buy a copy of
the magazine !!!
It will be on the newsstands for some days still.

Subject: ILL from the New Yorker?

Just a personal view, but why wouldn't your "patron"* simply buy a copy of
the desired magazine ?
As you read this, perhaps 750 copies are readily available on dozens of
newsstands near Presbyterian !
The retail price for a single copy of the New Yorker is $5.99.
What do you suppose is your total cost for listing, responding, and filling
this request -
as well as that for those who generously respond to it ?

. * patron : [1] "One who countenances, protects, or gives
influential support to"
. [2] "regular customer"
. -source: Concise Oxford Dictionary, 4th

Happy Thursday all!

Does anyone subscribe to The New Yorker? Atul Gawande, MD has written an
article that a patron wants to read. The information is: Atul Gawande,
Medical Report, "The Hot Spotters," The New Yorker, January 24, 2011, p.
41.

If anyone is able to email me the full article I would be very grateful.

Thank you!
