I know that's the way it looks, but I can say that I have been able
to help several people with "ILL questions" that they very well might
not have found elsewhere -- because they were obscure publications by
our researchers.
People who are able to help with "ILLs", as you call them, may never log
on to an ILL list. I have no interest in inter-library loan. But I can
help people with information only we are likely to have.
If you think of these as information requests and not as ILL channels,
perhaps you will see the utility of such questions on the list.
