I'm in the process of collecting online survey data about library
services.
My survey design is open-ended, i.e. none of the questions are
manditory.
I'm asking, "do you need education about library resources?" and "what
format of library resource education would you prefer?"
I'm getting responses like "no, I don't need any library resource
education" followed by several educational formats the individual would
prefer for library resource education.
I have my own thoughts about how to interpret such responses but would
appreciate the thoughts of others about how you would handle the
tabulation in instances when responses conflict with one another.
Please reply to me personally & I will summarize for the list & send you
a link to the survey so you can comment on design.
Many thanks to all who respond.
