We use the pens on a chain that attach to a flat surface with a piece
that comes with an adhesive for attachment.  I guess library/office
supply vendors would sell them.  You just unclip any pens that run
out and replace them with refills that you can purchase just for this
purposed.  At least the pens don't "walk" with this set-up.
