I just accessed the MLA website from England at 16.00 GMT (that's 08.00
in California) using a dial-up connection to an ISP and Netscape
Communicator 4.04

with 28.8K modem it took 1 minute 10 seconds to load the whole page
properly

with ISDN it took 1 minute 5 seconds to load the whole page properly

Looking at the document source, I see there's supposed to be a frameless
version somewhere.

and I don't think much of that eye either
