Dear Bette
Would the answer to this not depend on the legislative arrangements relating to where your institution is based?
All the best

Subject: ? copyright and fair use
Sorry for another copyright question.... my faculty member wants to use 38 pages of a 376 page book in her class. My gut feeling is no because it would not be considered a "small amount" of the copyrighted work. I would appreciate the opinion of my colleagues who know more about this than I do.
Thank you,
Bette
