Sorry but I meant to include the sources I've already searched...

I've looked at the JCAHO Website (www.jcaho.org) and the 2004 
Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals: the Official Handbook. 
On the Website, I used the search terms "patient education" and "patient 
and family education." I've also read over the FAQs for accreditation 
standards for hospitals, for ambulatory care, and for health care 
networks.

Any assistance or pointers to sources would be greatly appreciated.
