Hello:
I apologize for my tardiness in following up on the conversation started regarding EE+ (InfoRetriever/InfoPOEMS). The following is a brief summary of the conversations I had:
I was basically told that it is a great resource for Family Medicine residents/faculty only and that it is not really all that helpful to other residency programs.
It is reasonably priced; however, it is presumed that with Wiley taking over that the price will increase.
One mentioned that the statistics portion of EE+ was not up to par and hopes that Wiley will make significant improvements to that section.
Many that I talked to said that the users preferred UTD and once they were used to the program were hesitant to change. However, UTD is expensive and not always easy to work with in terms of contracts and licensing agreements from the library's POV.
When asked how it compares to Dynamed or FirstConsult, everyone raved about Dynamed.
