Hey everyone
At the meeting (which was poorly attended) we talked about the MENC  
Eastern Divisional Conference that will be held in Hartford CT on  
March 8-11th. This looks like a great opportunity and at an affordale  
rate for college students. The preregister price is $50 and on site is  
$60. For someone not at the collegiate level, the price is $150!

What I'm thinking, and what I brought up at the meeting is that we can  
try to cover the cost for part of the trip. Hopefully we can cover  
registration, transportation and part of the rooms. We are looking at  
hotels right now (I just talked to my friend from Hartford and he said  
that the Crown Plaza is in sketchy area, so we might want to try a  
little further away) I think that this would be an amazing opportunity  
for us to represent  VT and go see some great conferences.

Here's the plan: We'll find a hotel and make reservations based on who  
is interested in going. We want to do that soon, because rooms will be  
taken up. So if you are interested, please let me know. This isn't a  
definite YES for the convention, but it will give us an idea of how  
many rooms to hold and a target for how much money we will need. So  
far, I have a few people interestd, including:
