Hello everyone,
So we have our Dec. 2nd spaguetti dinner here are some deadlines (any
of these times can be arranged if people have a problem with them):
Nov. 27th- have donations (Rachel) and space arrangements
(Ivette)ready. Mason- put out posters to advertise.
Nov. 28th- 3:30 go shopping for food and plates and decorations, grab
donations(I can shop, Rachel would you like to join me since you have
the donations? anyone else want to shop?)
Nov. 29th- deadline for performances, by this point we will have a
concrete list of the name of the pieces and the performers for the
event. (optional- making concert program pamphlets.) Performers make
sure you have whatever equipment (microphones, stands) available for
event (if it means talking to a staff member about borrowing a school
microphone from that insrument room by the ballroom, etc.)
Nov. 30th- have crockpots that we need to get from people (Chelsie,
etc.) in Redstone Hall Kitchen
Nov. 1st- after MENC meeting test run, make a small sample of pasta,
see how long it takes to get it up to the ballroom and how long it
will last hot inside a crock-pot.
Nov. 2nd- an hour (or more) before event, set up decorations,
crock-pots with food on a table, tables with full dinnerware set,
performance area setup (microphones, amps set up, stands, etc.) bring
gift certificates to raffle and concert pamphlets if we decided to
make them (host standing at the door handing out pamphlets and
greeting people.)
During the week- personally invite professors to come, here's an idea
of how we could go about this:
Everyone invite their lesson teacher during their lesson. Ivette
perhaps invite prof. Hopkins during orchestra. Aram perhaps invite
prof. Parshley during piano. Rachel perhaps invite Dr. Neiweem during
catamounts. Abby perhaps invite Prof. Pepper during your theory
class. I can invite Amber and Tom during jazz ensemble. Anyone see
prof. Julien, I think she teaches first year classes, Emily perhaps?
Well that's my blab, any comments/complaints, you can e-mail or talk to me.
