Well, Heeeeeello MENC!

First of all, can I just say HELLO, and I miss all of you!  It's very  
strange not walking into Southwick every day and speaking of our  
various musical adventures, like a Sylvia Parker piano quiz or an Alan  
Parshley laugh or an awesome new Tonerism.

I wanted to write and say THANK YOU for all of your hard work you all  
put into MENC last year.  It means so much to have such a cohesive  
club with so many wonderful and determined people.  We accomplished so  
much this past year, and we fund raised a BUNCH of money for our club  
for various trips and events for next year!  I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!

A look into next year......

We have a bunch of great conferences we are thinking of attending for  
this upcoming year such as VMEA (october 21st), NYSSMA (Dec 2-5), and  
the MENC Eastern Division Conference (March 31- April 3) in Baltimore,  
Maryland!  So we can have AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE go on these  
trips, we will be doing bunches of fund raising again this semester,  
which I'm sure will include events like pumpkin carving and ushering  
concerts, so PREPARE YOURSELF!!

On a final note, I just want to thank you all again for your hard work  
this semester, inside and outside of the club.  I know we all always  
have 35874059 things to do on a day to day basis, and yet you all  
still manage to come through for MENC, so thank you thank you THANK  
YOU.  We could not have had such a successful two semesters without  
each and every one of you.

I will email you again closer to the start of the semester with more  
plans about the 1st meeting!

Have a WONDERFUL rest of your summer!  Go outside, eat nummy summer  
food, and get ready for another nutso semester with 25 NEW MUSIC ED  
FRESHMAN so I hear :)
