Hello Everyone!
Hope you had a fine weekend.
First order of business- Where is everyone???? For the past 4 or 5
weeks, we've had less than half attendance. This is not ok. These
meetings are the only time that we can all be together as a unit.
These meetings are not optional. Please come.
On that note, we are having a hard time really thinking about getting
people for a workshop. If no one shows up to a mandatory meeting, who
will care about an optional workshop? Please show us that this is not
true.
I know some of you have a few years to go until you are out in the
real world, but it's sooner than you think. Many of the graduates that
we've talked to have said their one big regret is not attending as
many worshops/conferences/etc. as they would have liked. Try to get as
much out of your education as possible!!!
Thank you to the people who went to the trombone workshop at the Elley
Long center- I heard great things about it.
There is a bassoon workshop on November 15th from 3-8- hopefully some
people attend!
Lastly, thanks for the great work you've all been doing on ushering so
far, but there are still some slots empty. If you are planning to go
to a performance but haven't signed up to usher it, please just do
it!! Thanks!
Lindsey
Treats! I don't know how many of you watch "The Sing-Off", but these
two videos were too good not to share:
