NAfME Notes (1/29/14)

Kyle's Fundraising plan:

UVM Music Day/carnival

Sometime in April on a Saturday, we will take over the whole music building, have every instrument in every corner of the building. Students, Community members, UVM faculty, anyone, could come and take lesson on any instrument they've ever wanted to try. People would buy tickets to use at lessons, events, for food and maybe even some prizes. During the day, there would be performances happening in the recital hall, hopefully by faculty member and students alike.
Eventually we split into committees to take on this massive project. In the end though, this could be the biggest fundraiser ever for NAfME and could happen for years to come. We still have a lot of logistics to figure out and the most important part; the date. Most likely a doodle poll will come out when we figure out what dates work best related to concerts and university events.
