Meeting notes

National Conference
We need to start thinking about more bake sales and other fund  
raisers. Chocolate selling was an idea. Also we could get money  
through Grants but that is a lot of work. If anyone would like to take  
that on talk to Yvette.

Meetings
Where are people hiding. Why does no one come? We need to start being  
more active. At meetings bring a friend who is in the music ed program  
but is not involved with MENC!

Soup Sale
$29.42 was made at the Soup Sale! Thank you to everyone who cooked,  
bought food and participated at our table.
We need to get more people involved in the fund raising

Breakdown of Money
Who should get the money from fund raising? It was discussed that only  
those people who participate should get the money. It is unfair if  
people who do not do anything with/for MENC get the benefit from the  
members who work for what they receive.
Money for the National Conference maybe given out based on a point  
system. Points for attendance at meetings, cooking/helping for fund  
raisers and other ideas. This will be amended in our constitution.

Constitution
It needs to be revamped. Dues may be added to the new revised version  
as well as fund raising money break down.
