I just talked to Carol King. The DOE rules are "tenatively on the agenda" but no firm decision has been made if they will be on the agenda. Carol has requested I call back on August 8th and they will know by then if the DOE rules will be on the agenda.
Wavell, we need to prepare the letter to the members of the State Board in case the rules are on the agenda. Carol King said she would send our material with the other materials that will go to the board members. I am also sending a letter to Carol reiterating that the MES board wants to be on the agenda if the DOE rules are on the agenda.
