My comments are mostly in the form of questions.
Amy

I1 When it speaks of the "Board" in lines 4 and 5, does it refer to the
Moretown Board or WWSU Board?

I2 (Was listed as I3 on green sheet--Provision of Special Ed. Services to
Private School Students)
In paragraph 6, does this mean only Federal money is turned over to
the child, but no additional taxpayer money is appropriated?
In paragraph 7, who would be responsible for payment should a parent
deem an outside advocate is needed?

I3 (Was I4 on green sheet--Extended School Year)
Paragraph B-- second line should read-- severe regression and "that"
such loss of skills...
Next paragraph--should the Superintendent do revisions, or should it
be the Director of Special Education along with the IEP team?
I3 Procedures:
This opens up a whole can of worms--would not every student benefit
from an ESY? With more breaks throughout the year and not nearly as long a
summer, I think every student could benefit (I know they talk about
regression versus benefit, but there is regression in regular ed students
also) from ESY and possibly our costs in Special Education would not be as
great, since we would not need to employ teachers beyond their 185 days in
the summer. I don't think as much regression would occur with 3 week
breaks.
On the 3rd page of procedures, second paragraph, last line--there are
no labelled paragraphs A-F.
Same page, 5th paragraph down, do we have an EPT at Moretown?

I4 (I5 on green sheet--Independent Educational Evaluation)
Schedule A, number 4.d.--Is this made clear to the parents before
seeking independent evaluation? Should an independent evaluator have more
authority when it comes to making a diagnosis regarding eligibility, or is
there a similarly qualified person on the evaluation and planning team?

I10 (I1.5 on green sheet--Individual Multi-year Plans)
This appears to be a Harwood policy.
