I was wondering if anyone has decided to take the Connected Math program
for grade 7 and do it over two years (grade 7 and 8) until the program
is more fully implemented with students at the 6th grade level. As a
district new to starting CMP, we feel like the grade 8 CMP cannot be
succussfully implemented until students get a better background in
grades 6 and 7. Also, since CMPII has only published one unit for grade
8, we thought this would help solve this dilemma. Opinions anyone?
We'd love to hear them. - Carol McNair, Chittenden East Supervisory
Union.
