It is a seperate office from the clerk/treasurer. I am also delinquent tax collector and we used to have vote every year on it. We finally changed it, by voting, to a 3 year elected term. I negotiated with the Selectboard for my pay. Not sure how many hours a week because it's all mixed in together with the regular work day for me.

Hi everyone- I am wondering how many clerk/treasurers out there also act as the delinquent tax collector. Is it a separate office that you have to run for, or is it simply part of the clerk/treasurer's duties? Also, how many hours a week on average do the delinquent tax duties take up. Thanks alot!
