I disagree with recording the Uniform Bill of Sales in the Land Records. In
Colchester we have nearly 700 mobile homes, with 95 bill of sales filed
last year. Presently, we file them in chronological order in a binder. We
have index cards for the grantor and grantee which are filed
alphabetically. This system works well for us.

Our vault is full so we are constantly cycling records to a downstairs
vault. Uniform Bill of Sales are one of the items that can go downstairs
after a number of years. The land record books require more space and need
to remain accessible.
