Good Mornng,
Last evening in Townshend, at the Leland and Gray Union High School
Annual Budget Meeting, there were several questions pertaining to
Australian ballot which had been presented to the school by petition.
The first article to adopt the budget vote by australian ballot, was
approved by the voters by paper ballot.
The second article for co-mingling was defeated.
The third article was confusing to the voters and the moderator said he
did not understand it also. As follows: "Shall the Leland and Gray Union
High School District #34 vote on all public questions by Australian ballot?"
Does anybody know exactly what the definition of "public questions" is?
The article was passed over....the statute seems to be broad and that
caused some confusion....
Any thoughts and comments will help answer questions today I am sure.
Thank you everyone-
