The fees for a UCC as a UCC filing is the $10.00 if it is 1-2 pages, $15 if
it is 2 or more pages (as listed on the Secretary of State's Office website
under Corporations/UCC's).  If someone wants the document to be filed as a
UCC and also recorded in the land records, then it is a double fee--the $10
or $15 fee plus $7.00 per page.

Hi to all:



I received a call from a paralegal who is trying to do a closing and has to
file UCC's in 25 diffferent towns.  This is a fixture filing and by statute
it is to go into the land records i.e. copied and indexed into our land
record volumes vs a UCC file.   This paralegal is finding vast differences
and no consistencies in the fees we are charging.  What are other town doing
in this respect?  I 'd like to get back to her as soon as possible.
