Usually you'll just be sent a correction from the ME's office once a determination has been made, but I don't really keep track of that.

  I have a death certificate in my records from 1998 that says cause of death pending, manner of death pending.  Will I ever be sent a corrected/finalized death certificate?  What does that process look like?
