I am in receipt of a letter from W. Owen Jenkins which reads as follows:
On behalf of my clients, ----------, you are hereby authorized to immediately release and discharge their Writ of Attachment dated --- served on you on ---, thereby encumbering property owned by ----.
How do I handle this? Is this treated as a regular recording? No payment was received. I'm not comfortable just writing on an attachment to discharge it. It seems like I saw a statute on this once, but don't remember.
