Nancy,

See 32 VSA section 4009. Make sure to check the pocket
part. It was changed last year.

Subject: Re: Personal property & inventory

I know this is a lister's question, but I can't access their
list serve
today. No listers are in. Isn't personal property and
inventory
records for a taxpayer confidential? Please give me
statute. For 1999
a leasing company sent in personal property inventory
figures which the
listers used. Now the people who lease this equipment want
to see the
sheet submitted by the leasing company. I believe this is
confidential. If the leasing company requested this OK but
I think I
remember reading that no one else can view this sheet. They
only see
the bottom line which is in the grand list. Please give me
your
opinion. Thanks Nancy.
