With the situation evolving with COVID-19 and this week’s news about the possibility of a 9% increase in education taxes, I want to inquire again with municipalities how they are approaching their FY22 budgets? Has the COVID-19 situation not had much of an impact on municipal revenues? Are towns budgeting as normal or are towns instead taking more conservative approaches to the budget going before voters at TMD in 2021?
