Here in Milton we have made approximately 1,000 copies of tax bills for our
taxpayers. We do not charge for this service, however, we do refuse to fax
them. We tell them they can either be mailed to them or they can be picked
up. We too feel it is our responsibility to the taxpayers, however, if we
were to fax them, we would be down to the fax machine all the time. It sure
would be nice, though, if they could keep a copy for their records when
they receive the bill! We spend alot of time doing a service that has
already been provided once. John believe that since this is the first year
that they have had to attach the current bill, over time this will get
better because they will realize that they need this. I think he has
wishful thinking........
