Hi David,
Our current Selectboard voted this year to give proposed increases of 1.5% 1-6 years of service, 1.75% 7-12 years of service, and 2.0% anyone over 13 years of service. This was for Highway crew only. Other part time people received other raises and elected personnel submit a budget with what they want for a raise and it is either approved or they tell you to amend it. That being said, Boards change continuously and they have the right to change amounts every budget season.
Sincerely,

Karen J. Lathrop

Subject: Road crew salary?

We are working on our budget for town meeting and would like to know what other towns are paying their Forman and road crew? Also does everyone automatically give a cost of living raise or do you have some kind of step system?

Thanks
