Hi all - please help spread the word about this event to all young farmers
and young farm workers.

We all clearly know that young farmers are needed in a big way and The
Center for an Agricultural Economy in Hardwick is trying to help with this
in a number of ways - a party being the main one for this summer. You may
know of the Greenhorns - it is an inspiring film project about young
farmers in America. Check out this link and watch the trailer
http://thegreenhorns.wordpress.com/2008/03/14/watch-the-trailer/. It is
directed by Severine, a 28 year old organic veggie grower from NY who is a
force to be reckoned with.

On June 18th, The Center for an Agricultural Economy, High Mowing Organic
Seeds and many others are sponsoring a Young Farmer Mixer with The
Greenhorns team at Claire's and The Center's office, followed by a bonfire
afterwards at High Mowing. Please spread the word far and wide so that
all the young farmers that you know can be filled with the exciting spirit
of like minded people in our state and get connected to a national
movement. Use this link for more details.
