Meetings for Beginning Farmers and Farm Interns
Cedar Circle Farm and Valley Food and Farm have organized a series of
meetings this summer for Beginner Farmer and Farm Interns. These meeting
will consist of a topical farm tour and an informal potluck dinner.
-The goals of the project are both educational and social--- to give
apprentices and new farmers more exposure to local farmers and different
types of operations, and to help build social networks while introducing
them to the local culture of farming. All sessions will be 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
-We’re estimating farm tours and questions will take 1-1.5 hours. Potluck
and social time will take up the rest of the evening.
-To participate you must RSVP to Norm at Cedar Circle Farm;
[log in to unmask], (802) 785-4706. We strongly encourage
folks to participate in the entire series.
