Our next meeting will be Thursday August 5 from 12:30 - 2 pm, at the NRCS
Conference room in Berlin.
This is the same location as last time.
The agenda and directions are below.
The Center for Sustainable Agriculture will provide lunch again.
Please be on-time (or a little early) so that we can stay on schedule. We
have a very full agenda.

1. Welcome, introductions, agenda additions/changes

2. Assessment of accomplishments since 2002, remaining gaps/needs and
emerging needs.

3. Planning for possible fall 2004 strategic planning meeting

4. Planning for new farmer educational offerings for winter 2004-2005

5. Pending grant proposals

6. Program updates,  as time provides

Directions:
 From Interstate-89: Take Exit 7 off I-89. At the first light, take a right
(you'll see Applebee's Restaurant, Town & Country Honda, and the Comfort
Inn). Continue straight about 1/4 mile to first intersection and take a
left onto Comstock Road (dirt road). Continue straight on Comstock Road for
about one half mile. University of Vermont Extension building is on the
left; look for sign that reads, "USDA Service Center." The building is tan
with blue trim.
