Gardening Questions
Presenter: Dr. Norman Pellett, UVM horticulture professor emeritus

Dr. Pellett will lead a discussion of plant and gardening questions
taken from his new book, Gardening Quiz Book, hot off the press.
Examples: What does pruning do to plants? How do plants survive
winter? What do earthworms eat? And many more and please bring your
own gardening questions.

Dr. Pellett is Professor Emeritus of the University of Vermont, where
he taught
horticulture classes, provided Extension education, and conducted
research for 29 years, much of at the Horticulture Research Center. He
was raised on a farm in western Iowa and today enjoys vegetable,
flower and landscape gardening at his home in Charlotte.

A $10 donation is recommended per person ($5 for members of The
Friends and VT Master Gardeners). The program, sponsored by The
Friends of the Horticulture Farm, will be held in the Blasberg
Building, UVM Horticultural Research Complex, South Burlington.
