Are you a vegetable, fruit, or berry grower in Vermont? Salvation Farms invites YOU to take part in a short survey!
Salvation Farms has launched the Vermont Food Loss Survey and is looking for Vermont vegetable, fruit, and berry farmers to participate. By taking the first part of the survey - which takes no more than 5 minutes to complete - you will be entered into a raffle to win a $100 gift certificate to a Vermont location of your choosing.  You will also have the opportunity to take the second part of the survey - which takes no more than 10 minutes to complete - and you will be entered to win a $300 gift certificate.  The purpose of this survey is to find out how much food loss there is on Vermont farms each year - and also to identify opportunities for future action. Subject: Salvation Farms Request: Distributing the Vermont Food Loss Survey

Salvation Farms is launching its Vermont Food Loss Survey, and we wanted to request the Vermont Agency of Agriculture's help to get the word out to farmers across the state.
The purpose of the Vermont Food Loss Survey is to learn more about how much food is lost each year on Vermont farms - in particular, how much edible food is not harvested, and how much edible food is not sold.  Our goal is to get as many vegetable, fruit, and berry farmers as possible to fill out this survey over the next two weeks. As we know how busy farmers are, we have split the survey into two sections - the first section only takes a maximum of 5 minutes to complete, after which the farmers are entered into a raffle for a $100 gift certificate. They then have the option to end, or to continue on to the second section, which only takes a maximum of 10 minutes to complete. If they complete the second section, they will be entered into a raffle for a $300 gift certificate.
