Hey everyone,

So we're still waiting on the snow to fall, but defintely getting
geared up for what is going to a fabulous winter (just keep dreaming,
praying, dancing, singing, sacrificing to the snow gods...).

For the wicked exciting news, we've got ourselves a season pass deal
that is absolutely stellar! For $50, you can be an official member of
the UVM Nordic Ski Club AND get a Winter Membership to Catamount
Outdoor Family Center! This is a HUGE deal -- the rate for adults
over 18 is usually $140. Catamount has really hooked us up!!

Catamount has 35 km of machine-groomed skate and classic trails,
winding through forests and meadows, uphill and down. They offer
rentals, instruction, and LIGHTED night skiing! It's only a 20 minute
drive away!!

However, in order to get this deal, we need a list of paid members by
December 13 at the latest. Write checks out to UVM Nordic Ski Club and:
a) Bring them to the UVM Ski and Snowboard Club office in the basement
of Billings on Wednesdays from 12:30-4 or Thursdays from 12-3;
b) Send them to:
           Billings Student Center
           B-156 - Nordic Ski Club
c) Bring them to our last meeting of the semester which will be
happening on December 13, time and place TBA.

And, one final thing, this offer is not limited solely to people on
this list. If you've got friends who want a place to ski, tell them
about it and get them to join, too! However, you must be a UVM
student in order for this offer to apply.

Get those skis tuned up because the temperature is dropping (soon) and
the snow will be falling!!
