Hey folks,
As Kelly noted, the listserv is up and running, so feel free to post on here and
share events, programs, and competition schedules as well. Be mindful of the
fact that many people across campus will be reading your posts.
The meeting monday has been changed because we have added a last minute event
that conflicts during this time. As part of National Hunger and Homelessness
Awareness week (http://www.uvm.edu/~hearts/hungerandhomeless.pdf) we will be
attending the film screening "The High Cost of Low Price" Monday night at 7pm
in Marsh Life Science Room 235, which is sponsored by Students for Peace and
Global Justice. If it isn't a huge inconvenience, show up around 6:30 so we
can have a quick version of our normal business meeting before the video
starts. Check out the other great events going on this week for National
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week at the link above.
A few other notes...
We are participating in Fill the Fireplace along with Club Sports and the group
we are sponsoring is the Chittendon County Food Shelf. Bring non-perishable
food items either to the meeting tomorrow night, to M106 in the gym (across
from tennis courts, next to dance studio) or contact me with your expected
donation and where one of us could pick it up. We will be dropping off our
donation on Thursday the 17th so act fast!

Also, there is an Ally Development Series with LGBTQA Services going on this
Tuesday, the 15th from 3:30-5:00 pm in the Allen House Conference Room. It's a
great opportunity for professional and personal development and will focus on
ally development with an emphasis on transgender issues. Contact Jamie to
