I'm wondering if anyone who works with WordPress might be able to help with
an issue.

We have an article for our HS paper, the "Chronicle", for which an
incorrect author is shown. We've tried to remove the check for the
incorrect person in the list of users associated with the story, but it
seems like WordPress refused to allow this. (The check keeps reappearing
after clicking the update button).

That may mean something to WordPress users. If you happen to have any
thoughts (or might come up with some if you had more information) please
let me know.
