Hi:

Phil Hyjek, State Information Technology Specialist and the VDE have asked
me to review the current K-12 State Information Technology Plan. The Plan
will need to be revised in 2000. The Plan is an important policy document
that enables the State to receive funds for local school use in the area
of information technology. Several millions of dollars have been received
and distributed to schools in the State since 1996.

To obtain information about the plan I have asked several people on this
list to answer a short survey about the plan. If you didn't receive a
survey from me and would like to supply information about the plan and
revision of the plan please let me know.
